The Opportunity
Triangle Community Foundation is a philanthropic leader dedicated to connecting resources, expertise, and leadership to make the Triangle region of North Carolina stronger. With the launch of their strategic plan, the Foundation recognized the need to build greater awareness of its mission — not just among donors, but also community partners and the general public.
To strengthen its position as the philanthropic engine for the Triangle region, Triangle Community Foundation partnered with Capitol B to develop a strategic plan activation that would elevate visibility and deepen engagement across audiences.

The Work
Our collaboration began with a series of discovery and research sessions with Triangle Community Foundation’s advisors, donors, and staff. Through these conversations, we identified key themes and messaging that captured the Foundation’s unique voice and value — emphasizing connection, collaboration, and impact.
To ensure consistency across communications, we developed a comprehensive toolkit to help grantees and partners share aligned messages. We brought the toolkit to life through training sessions that equipped Foundation representatives with best practices and confidence in public storytelling.
On the production side, we created sponsored content, a brand video, and launched a strategic media partnership with WRAL News to expand the Foundation’s visibility. Behind the scenes, we also identified opportunities to enhance user experience and align digital touchpoints with the new messaging framework.
Together, these efforts are positioning Triangle Community Foundation as a more visible, cohesive, and compelling force for good — empowering its team and partners to share a unified story of community-driven change.
